Are you a serious fan of streaming radio stations? Do you love to listen to all types of music and broadcasting, including country, rap, and talk radio? Are you a serious listener to the top 40 songs on multiple stations? Then you are one of the lucky ones. Music is so influential in our lives, and we don’t realize that it is everywhere around us, from the sounds that we hear on the bus going to work, to the incoherent sounds that your toddler makes when he sees you at night. They all make up the music that we live our lives to – they are part of our own personal soundtrack. Me personally, I would prefer to create a soundtrack of my own favorite songs, but if I had to describe my natural sound track, I would say it is comprised of my truck’s engine, my horse’s nickering, dogs barking, cat’s meowing, and a collection of other random sounds that change on a daily basis. I am obviously an animal person, but it is interesting that our soundtrack says so much about our lives that it is difficult to miss.
You know what I’m talking about, the sound of elevator buttons, bus doors; your soundtrack is all around you, every day and night of your life. So the next time you turn on your radio, turn it off again and think about this. What is your soundtrack?
